The Anus is a classically trained amateur philosopher and would-be scientist currently working at a Veterans Hospital as a research coordinator, statistician and chief writer for a medical research group.  His first philosophical love was Kant, and his most recent is Dewey.  He thinks that if Dewey had a similar influence on Western thought as far back as Aristotle, we would have colonized the moon by now, there would be no global warming, and we’d be living in a renewable economy with clean water, clean air, and plenty of energy for an indefinite future.  He has no ambitions to be anything other than what he is, unless it’s to break 3 hours in a marathon within the next two years.
